Functional Lab Testing: HTMA, Nutritional Genomics Testing, Select Hormone Panels

You can purchase these as add on service

Functional testing can provide additional insight into nutritional patterns, lifestyle factors, and areas that may benefit from more targeted support. When appropriate, testing may be recommended to help guide nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, but it is never required to work together.

Available testing options include Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), nutrigenomic testing, select hormone panels, and nutrition-focused laboratory assessments. Testing recommendations are always individualized and used as one piece of the larger picture, alongside your health history, symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. My focus is on helping you understand what the results mean and translating that information into practical, actionable steps that support your long-term health.

The Process

01

Establish Care: Begin by purchasing your initial consultation. Once purchased you will receive access to your secure client portal through Practice Better.

Inside the portal, you will complete your intake paperwork, review and sign consent forms, and submit a 3-day food journal. These forms provide important information about your health history, lifestyle, symptoms, and current eating patterns, allowing me to thoroughly prepare for our first session and provide recommendations that are personalized to your needs and goals.

02

Initial Consultation: Once your intake forms have been completed, you will receive a link to schedule your first 60-minute nutrition consultation.

During this session, we will take a deep dive into your health story. We'll review your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle habits, nutrition patterns, and health goals to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique needs. This appointment is designed to identify potential barriers to progress, provide personalized education, and establish realistic, actionable nutrition and lifestyle goals that support your long-term health.

03

Personalized Nutrition Plan: Following your initial consultation, I will develop a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan based on your health history, symptoms, goals, and individual needs.

Your recommendations may include an evidence-based food plan, food lists, sample menus, recipes, meal-building guidance, and other educational resources designed to support your success. Rather than overwhelming you with extensive changes all at once, we will focus on clear, actionable steps that can realistically be implemented within the first 1–4 weeks. This approach helps build sustainable habits, create momentum, and establish a strong foundation for long-term results.
